Gen.G Esports Signs Exclusive Partnership with AfreecaTV
l The Gen.G LoL team will be streaming exclusively on AfreecaTV platform, starting July 20th (Wed) at 23:30 KST
l The streams will allow players to directly communicate with fans worldwide.
Seoul (July 18, 2022) – AfreecaTV announced that it has signed an exclusive streaming partnership with the Gen.G Esports League of Legends team (Gen.G LoL team). Gen.G Esports, a global esports company with offices in Seoul, South Korea, Los Angeles, U.S., and Shanghai, China, actively operates esports teams and an esports education academy. Among them, the Gen.G LoL team boasts a global fanbase and currently ranks top in the League of Legends Champions Korea.
AfreecaTV is a media platform where anyone can enjoy live streaming content using PCs and mobile devices, and it has also become an esports portal by operating its own esports page and game prediction services. Through this streaming partnership with the Gen.G. LoL team, it strengthened its position as a streaming platform for professional gaming teams.
